Some examples of the work we are currently engaged in are listed below:
- Supporting the mobilisation and transition phases of the new COMPASS contracts and contributing to strategic planning for the future of the contract;
- Continuing to support UKBA with their prevention of harm agenda;
- Rolling out the Policy Toolkit to local authorities;
- Working with a range of partners to ensure that Scotland is a hostile environment for human traffickers and that victims are well supported;
- Liaising with all stakeholders in relation to age assessment processes for unaccompanied asylum seeking children (UASCs);
- Establishment of a NRPF Network for Scotland which provides a forum for sharing of good practice; and
- Dissemination of our elected members’ guide to migration issues in run up to 2012 local government election.
