We worked with Shetland Islands Council to pilot the Policy Toolkit in January 2011 to assist in developing the 2011/12 Single Outcome Agreement (SOA). The aim was to ensure that the SOA was focused on meeting the agreed key purpose of maintaining the number of economically active people in Shetland. Click on the link below to find out more.
In Dumfries and Galloway, a Community Planning Demographic Working Group was formed to produce a Strategic Plan and an Action Plan to respond to the implications of the projected demographic change. This work was informed by information and statistics from a range of sources, including the Policy Toolkit. To find out more about how Dumfries and Galloway used the Toolkit, click on the link below.

We provided support to Glasgow City Council between March and June 2011 as a means of assisting them in developing a migration strategy that fits their demographic requirements. The support work culminated in the provision of an internal report which the Council are currently considering as they seek to ensure that the city remains a welcoming place for migrants going forward.
