New Scots Refugee Integration Strategy

The New Scots Refugee Integration Strategy 2018-2022 was launched at an event at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Wednesday 10 January 2018.

The strategy will help refugees and asylum seekers settle in Scotland and focuses on supporting integration through the provision of education, housing, healthcare and employment. It also aims to help refugees settle into local communities and share their skills.

The strategy was developed collaboratively by the Scottish Government, COSLA and the Scottish Refugee Council.  It involved extensive community engagement - around 2000 people attended the various events that were organised, including more than 700 asylum seekers and refugees.
